I've always had a hustle mindset. Entrepreneurship isn't just what I do — it's who I am. Whether I'm running my photobooth rental business, crafting, or diving deep into someone's books, I show up with the same energy: all in.
Professionally, I bring a Bachelor's in Accounting, an MBA, and over a decade of hands-on experience in income tax preparation, healthcare accounting, and governmental finance. I've also had the privilege of teaching business accelerator classes for the Urban League of Louisiana — helping fellow entrepreneurs level up their financial knowledge.
But Better Books didn't start as a business plan. It started as a hustle that became a mission.
I started this business to make ends meet — and somewhere along the way, I realized how many small business owners were struggling with the same things I had. Messy books. Confusing taxes. No clear picture of their finances. Stress that follows you home.
That lit something in me. I knew I could help.
